I wanted to take my son whom was graduating from high school on a "bucket list" fishing trip. After booking our trip I was extreamly excited for this trip, all I could say was "WOW" Dorthy and her staff are second to none! The food was over the top great! The lodge was wonderfully Cared for and quiet comfortable. They made sure our stay was very memorable and we couldn't have been more pleased!! The fishing guides were very helpful, personable, and at times very humorous, If your looking for a trip to create memories with your child, spouse or just great friends you should look no further than Crooked Creek Outfitter. We left with our fish cleaned ,vacuum sealed ,frozen and airline approved and ready. I thought this was a trip of a lifetime, as I was leaving I have already booked another trip for next summer!! Cant wait to return to see Dorthy and her staff!! Tight lines and just maybe we will see you there!!!'

Our stay at Crooked Creek Retreat was a vacation of a lifetime! We were spoiled by Dorothy at the lodge every step of the way. The accommodations were top notch. The meals were absolutely delicious! If we planned a day trip, Dorothy would provide us with boxed lunches. If we had any questions, Dorothy would answer from her vast knowledge and experience in the area, or she would put us in touch with the proper person. We had so much fun on the various fishing expeditions, and still are talking about it! If you have a chance to come to Alaska, and want to be spoiled while here, you should definitely check out the Crooked Creek Retreat in Kasilof. We are so happy we did!

Dorothy and her team are nothing short of amazing. We were spoiled from day 1, and didn't have to worry about any aspect of our trip; from meals to guides. They took a bucket list trip for my son and I and turned it into a life changing experience where we got to see beyond the tourist areas to real Alaska. I will never be able to say enough good things about Crooked Creek!

Beautiful lodge, amazing staff, perfect vacation! Dorothy does an amazing job at making your Alaskan adventure a once in a lifetime trip, every time you go! Your vacation here will be one for the books, and you will never be bored of the beauty, class, and sass of this lodge. The whole experience is top notch, and they all strive to make each season better than the one before. See you again in July Aunt Dorothy!

July, 2016-My husband and I wanted to take a special fishing trip to Alaska to celebrate our retirement from work. After reading excellent reviews on a variety of sites about Crooked Creek Retreat, I contacted Dorothy to discuss booking our trip. She was very helpful in suggesting when to come with what we wanted to do. I can't say enough about our trip. The Lodge, staff, accommodations, food, service, and guides far exceeded what other guided fishing trips we had ever experienced. The rooms were very nice with our own private bath. The food was great! Continental breakfast was available if your fishing day started early or a full hot breakfast was prepared otherwise. Box lunches (salmon cake sandwiches for example) were ready for us as we left. Just grab from refrigerator. When we returned from fishing, delicious appetizers were served before a nightly three to four course meal. We ate with all the other Lodge guests and so enjoyed the pleasant company. We spent a week fishing. Dorothy's guides were first class. They worked very hard to make sure we had every opportunity to limit on whatever we set out to catch. I had never really fly fished and ended up catching my limit after tips and tutoring by the guides. So excited. We left with 125lbs of cleaned, filleted, vacuum sealed fish that was still frozen after our 24 hour plane/car trip home even though it was a blistering 104 degree heat after departing the plane. We would highly recommend coming to Crooked Creek Retreat. What we thought would be a once in a lifetime trip left us wanting to return again. We are planning a return trip in 2018.

I just got back from the trip, and for now, this is going to be my temporary review with 5 stars. There is a lot to say, and describe, all I can say for now: it's worth every single penny that you spend, the service, the food, the views, the handling absolutely everything it top service. Miss Dorothy, Lindsey, and her entire crew will not leave you disappointed. Oh, and last thing, lots and lots of fish!!!!

We had a narrow time window to do an Alaska fishing trip. Dorothy was very flexible in working with our schedule. Upon arrival we were treated to an incredible Prime Rib dinner and had the following 3 days to fish for Silvers, Halibut, and a variety of large catch and release fish. The lodge was inviting and top-notch, including great meals, getting to know other guests, and was a restful respite that has created a desire to return soon! Great job Dorothy, guides and staff!

Just left the lodge today after spending one of the greatest weeks of my life. When planning our trip you always wonder if you made the right decision. Well I will tell you right now, we did. It was everything we expected expected and so much more. The lodge and location was beautiful. Dorothy and her staff were amazing. We felt like a part of the family. Lyndsey was super nice and Ryan cooked amazing meals. We were never hungry. We ate like a king and queen from prime rib to king crab to homecooked breakfasts and all kinds of goodies in our lunch boxes. The guides were great and always put us on some awesome fishing. We thought this was a once in a lifetime trip but we are going to start saving money for a return trip for hopefully next year. Well worth the money.
